Scully

The remarkable Scully family descended from a Jeremiah Scully who was born in 1645 in either Longford or Offaly. He settled with his brother Roger near Cashel after the restoration of Charles II. Jeremiah married a daughter of Roger Ryan of Kilnemanagh and they had nine sons and two daughters. The second son, Roger of Kilfeacle, was the ancestor of the Scullys of Kilfeacle and Mantle Hill.
