This book traces the history of the Goff families of Ireland, England and New Zealand, that descended from William Goffe, the Regicide. The Goffs of Ireland, England and New Zealand are descended from William’s son Richard Goffe who settled in Ireland. When Jacob William Goff of Horetown, Co. Wexford died in 1845 he left no heir. His lands and properties were left to his eldest daughter, Rebecca who married Strangman Davis. Strangman changed his name to Davis Goff. The Goffs of Hale Park, England were descended from Richard’s descendant Joseph Chandler Goff. The New Zealand families are all descended from Strangman’s son Charles Edward Davis Goff
