One of the sons Michael was a
Captain in Brig. Hargreave’s Regiment. Three of the sons and
both daughters died unmarried. The eldest son Philip succeeded to
the Wells property in 1733. Robert apparently sold his Dublin
properties in the early 1700s and moved to Wells in Co. Wexford.
The Wells property came to the market by order of an
English Court, because of the illegal behavior of Hugh Warren who
had inherited from his uncle John Warren (died unmarried).
Philip Doyne, of Wells (1685-1753) moved to Wells, with his
father, Robert, sometime in the early 1700s.
